When we are in trials, may we keep our eyes on the Lord. May we not be distracted by worries and troubles of the world, for in the end, they'll all pass like fleeting clouds. In the end, does how much money I make really matter? Or does winning or losing an argument at work really matter? Or does where I live in this world really matter? The time we have in this world is treasurable only because God loves us, only when we are not wasting it on trivial things or meaningless bustling around. It is treasurable only when we have our priorities sorted out, love our God, love the people in our lives, and live in peace and joy. Our Lord is also watching over us in trials and His love is seeking our heart during the difficult times. I guess the lesson in trials is to learn to focus on Him, look beyond the world, and rely on Him when we walk our path in this world. (And may I remember this always...)
