my letter to a sister

Last night, at the small group fellowship, we sang the
song 主这样的爱。 I don't know if you still
remember the lyrics of this song.

I remember this was your favorite song when you were
in RI attending the Friday night fellowship. This
song reminded me of you! How wonderful it is for
someone to be able to find rest in the LORD. No
matter what, God loves you! When you are in despair,
call out to His name, and the LORD will comfort you.
It is never too late to turn back to God. At this
Christmas season, I hope you will find love and warmth
in your heart!

Remember the story of Jonah? This was his prayer when
he was at the stomach of the big fish.

1 From inside the fish Jonah prayed to the LORD his
God. 2 He said:
"In my distress I called to the LORD,
and he answered me.
From the depths of the grave [a] I called for
help,
and you listened to my cry.
3 You hurled me into the deep,
into the very heart of the seas,
and the currents swirled about me;
all your waves and breakers
swept over me.

4 I said, 'I have been banished
from your sight;
yet I will look again
toward your holy temple.'

5 The engulfing waters threatened me, [b]
the deep surrounded me;
seaweed was wrapped around my head.

6 To the roots of the mountains I sank down;
the earth beneath barred me in forever.
But you brought my life up from the pit,
O LORD my God.

7 "When my life was ebbing away,
I remembered you, LORD,
and my prayer rose to you,
to your holy temple.

8 "Those who cling to worthless idols
forfeit the grace that could be theirs.

9 But I, with a song of thanksgiving,
will sacrifice to you.
What I have vowed I will make good.
Salvation comes from the LORD."

10 And the LORD commanded the fish, and it vomited
Jonah onto dry land.

Pray Jonah's prayer, and may the LORD give you peace,
joy and strength.

I will continue praying for you till one day we may be
called sisters in the LORD again.

Pray for her, may the Lord lift her with His own hand. I believe prayers saved me because the Lord listens. I once was frustrated and refused to be called a sister in Him, but the brothers and sisters in Lord kept praying for me and kept me in the Lord's mercy. And I was lifted up, I felt the Lord's hand in everyway of my life. If I fall, there is His hand to catch me.

It is our sins that sank us in tribulation and confusion, only the Lord can save us and protect us. The Lord is our only savior, only shelter from all sins and all troubles of life. May the Lord change her heart and turn her toward our savior. Only in His is there peace and joy and everything granted us in His name. Amen.

Though now I don¡¯t go to bible study group, I still remember God
in my heart and think about Him and pray in my heart.
I pray Him to guide my
life. At this Christmas season, I think about
all of you and occur to many things when I was in American.
Merry Christmas to you and your family!
