March 2006 Prayer Requests

Please pray for God's guidance for helping me make appropriate job arrangement so that Bingxuan can devote more time to his job. He needs to go to a conference in China in May. After that, he is teaching two courses at Harvard Summer School. One of them is a new prep, and he has not started to prepare for it. Moreover, his tenure application package is due in early September, and he has not even thought about how to do it yet. I am willing to submit to God's will, once I am clear what HIS will is. If it means quiting my job, I will do it. And I believe that I am now much more prepared than a few weeks ago. I do realize that once I stay at home, I choose something that I am least good at, and I need to completely depend on God's grace every moment. I have to live on faith.
Christine, I will pray for you, for in hard times like this, I also feel helpless when I heard Ethan not taking his food easily. May the Lord keep you brave and joyful, and make the right decision.
Please pray for my school application, a couple of schools already rejected me, I feel God is blocking the ways where I should not go, and feel thankful but also cannot help worrying whether my wanting to go to school is in God's will. Please pray for the Lord to have mercy and patience on me because my faith is far less than His blessings on me. Please more importantly pray for my parents, may we all have peace and joy in Christ. Pray most importantly that they will take the faith seriously, and they will learn to trust and depend on God and pray earnestly, especially my father. I had a dream the day before yesterday, that my father was in a building where the whole first floor was flooded by sea water, I was trying very hard, swimming and climbing to get to him. I cried when I woke up. please pray for us.
Please continue to pray for Lucy and Tiegeng, may the Lord bring them together in the near future. And continue to pray for Wei and Junqi, may the Lord lead them.
Ying, a dream may not necessarily be a vision from God. Enemy could use dreams to make you fear. I pray the God would give you peace in your heart, and you would not be disturbed by it. I also pray that God would save your father according to HIS best plan. It is not your responsibility to save your father, but God's. In your dream, you were the one who was trying very hard to save him. Call out to our LORD, and HE will deliver.
Thanks Christine, I've been praying to our Lord about my father and mother everyday. I hope that God will use everything in our life to reveal His grace to us.
Wei, praise the LORD for what HE has done in your life and your family's. I believe that God has a good purse for everything we are experiencing. The safest place in the world is in God's will. I am learning day by day to able to submit myself to God. I will then understand what HIS perfect will is. I have been thinking about you, even though we haven't talked to you for quite a while. I will continue praying for you. May God's mercy and peace with you. Let's all learn to walk with the LORD moment by moment.
Wei, you are always in our prayers. Praise the Lord for His work in you and your family, He holds tomorrow and He is the most precious thing in life. Angela must be praying in sentences now, I remember she used to pray this way:"father, please, thanks, Amen." Definitely raise her in Christ's glory, she's such a good girl. We all miss you all.
Thank the Lord to bring sister Si Enbao and brother Chen to our home to talk to my parents. May the Lord do His work according to His plan. May His will be done according to His time. May His plan not be delayed by my worldly enthusiasm or effort. Praise the Lord for I know He is at work and He will sure finish the work He has started. Pray that God would forgive me for my impatience and little faith. There's always not enough faith of me compared to how much His blessing is. Praise God our heavenly father.
